China Translation & Publishing Corporation (CTPC) is a state-level translation and publication institution established with the approval of the State Council. In the past, it was affiliated with the State Publication Bureau and the General Administration of Press and Publication. At present, it is affiliated with China Publishing Group Corporation.

CTPC was established in 1973. After 35 years of effort, CTPC has established two brands: “CTPC translation” and “CTPC publishing”. CTPC translation services have reached every corner of the globe. For a long time, CTPC has been providing multilingual translation services for a variety of clients; from UN headquarters and related organizations to Chinese government departments and businesses.

CTPC works on certificates and letters as a service provider approved by consulates, notary offices, courts and police bureaus; and for key projects ranging from politics, economy, culture, education, international exchange and cooperation, to technology introduction and promotion. CTPC also provides document translation, interpretation and distance translation services for meetings and exhibitions both at home and abroad. CTPC has made outstanding achievements in publishing reference books, translation works, social science and art books, bilingual books, foreign language textbooks, materials for learners, etc.
